Heath has been the lead pastor of NewLife since the fall of 2008. Originally from the St. Albert/Edmonton area, he received his education at Taylor University, formerly known as North American Baptist College, and has nearly 15 years experience in church ministry. He is married to wife Heather, and they have three boys, Noah, Jonah and Levi. When he isn’t preaching, Heath can be found camping with his family, on the nearest golf course, or cheering on his #1 team, the Edmonton Oilers.

Kevin has been on staff at NewLife since the fall of 2009. He grew up on a small farm near Peterborough, Ontario, and attended Briercrest College and Seminary in Caronport, Saskatchewan. He became connected with NewLife Community Church through his work at Manitou Lake Bible Camp, where he served for four years before taking the Youth Pastor position at the church.

Rachel joined our staff in September 2010. She received her education through Peace River Bible Institute and Prairie Bible College. She has served in, coordinated and led various children’s ministries for over 10 years. Rachel spent 7 summers at Manitou Lake Bible Camp, and also became connected with NewLife through camp ministry. When she is not at work you can find her happily cleaning or finding adventures that involve being outside.

Shauna has been with NewLife since the very beginning when her family joined the founding pastor and his family in support of their vision for a “church for the un-churched.” She now works part-time as the church secretary and volunteers her time to the music ministry. She is married to husband Chad, and they have three boys, Connor, Benen and Kolten. She enjoys a good, strong cup of coffee and eking out a few minutes of peace and quiet in the day. (However, she likes to talk, so a good visit is always welcome, too.)
